THINKING OUTSIDE THE (DEVELOPER) BOX
During this restoration project, we decided to let the fabulous original details shine, rather than ripping out every shred of the quality craftsmanship -- and to allow the next owner to decide about kitchens and baths. So, we refinished the beautiful flooring, cleaned up vintage hardware, restored all the original five panel doors, repaired walls & windows, got the doorbells and "antique speaking tube" intercom working, fixed many other things, and re-wired and repainted the entire house. So beautiful, we wanted to move in!

A TOP to BOTTOM RESTORATION
During this restoration project, we removed every pipe, every wire, every window, the oil tank, and the entire heating system. Gas was brought to the house, and high efficiency heat and central air, 200-amp electrical and all new plumbing were installed. Unique design elements included handcrafted salvaged wood island, leathered granite counters, cedar & moss pendant lighting, and a luxurious full bath. All original trim, flooring, hardware, and doors were restored. No run-of-the-mill rehabs for us!
